On Wednesday DOT and Citi Bike will hold the first of two planning workshops for bike-share in Astoria. Now’s your chance to help decide where stations should go, and speak with DOT and local electeds about the need for more bike-friendly streets in northwest Queens.
If you can’t make it Wednesday, the second Astoria workshop is scheduled for November 3.

- Monday: The Manhattan CB 5 transportation committee will discuss the Port Authority Bus Terminal. 6 p.m.
- Wednesday: DOT hosts the first of two workshops to site bike-share stations in Astoria. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Thursday: The Brooklyn CB 14 transportation committee will get an update from DDC on the Church Avenue reconstruction project, which was supposed to be completed in 2014. 7 p.m.
- Friday: The City Council transportation committee holds a hearing on driverless vehicles. 10 a.m.
