But word is the project doesn't do much for cycling, despite the need for safer biking conditions on streets like Beach Channel Drive. It's not too late to shape the project: The city and Council Member Donovan Richards are holding a hearing tomorrow to collect ideas from local residents.

- Thursday: Transit officials from D.C. and New York discuss challenges facing their cities at a Transit Museum panel. 6 p.m.
- Saturday: This year’s TransportationCamp NYC is happening all day at City College. 9 a.m.
- Sunday: At the Atlantic Antic street festival, you can help the “People First on Atlantic Avenue” campaign advocate for safer conditions for walking and biking. 12 p.m.
