Tonight: Streetfilms on the Big Screen at the Brooklyn Museum

They say you can’t be a prophet in your own land. I guess that’s why Clarence had to move to Queens before the timing was right for tonight’s blockbuster Streetfilms screening at the Brooklyn Museum.

Assorted works from Clarence, Elizabeth and Robin will be projected on the big screen, including a few Streetfilms that no one has ever seen before. It starts at 7:00 p.m., and it’s going to be a great way to kick off the long weekend. (You can also congratulate Clarence on his recent nuptials — he’s been married for six days now.) The part of the evening you really won’t want to miss out on will come about 15 seconds into this Tour de Brooklyn recap from 2009. Watch a room full of Brooklynites react to a scene of their borough president before he succumbed to paranoid delusions about bike policy.
