Fair Regulation, Not Strangulation
No Cap, No Bans on Pedicab Industry
100 plus Pedicabs will ride en masse from Columbus Circle down Broadway to City Hall starting at noon. Media are invited to “embed” as pedicab passengers at any point during the ride.
2 p.m. press conference on City Hall steps will target City Council “FAVOR TO THE YELLOW TAXI MEDALLION OWNERS” Pedicab Regulation Bill 331A (now Public Law 19) set to take effect Sept. 20.
THIS LAW WILL PUT NEARLY HALF OUR INDUSTRY OUT OF BUSINESS BY A LOTTERY TO BE HELD IN 2 WEEKS. FLEET OWNERS WILL BE DECIMATED.
PEDICABS ARE NO THREAT TO THE TAXI INDUSTRY YET NEW YORK’S ONLY GREEN LIVERY SERVICE IS BEING CRUSHED BY NY CITY COUNCIL CRONYISM.
